Updated website

I’ve been slowly, and I really mean slowly, working on my website. I’ve done some updating and it is looking good but I still want to do more to improve it and that is the part that is going really slow (working on making it a little less basic and more appealing).  Being a work-at-home mom with a very busy and precocious 2 year old makes it challenging to juggle and balance all the things on my overall To-Do/Want-To-Do/Need-To-Do list.  I’ve also been trying to get my creative work space back together again (it was all set up and then we rearranged everything to make a guest room space for extended stay of family).  I’m hopeful and anxious to have my creative space completely organized, ready and conducive for some quality creative time.  In the mean time, I continue working on a new Violet scarf that is close to completion and will be posted soon.

I recently completed this fun, bright and cozy scarf that I will be listing in my Etsy shop soon. It would make a wonderful gift for someone.

 

I’ve also been working Holiday Gift Tags that I will be putting in my Etsy shop as soon as I get them in their assortments and photographed for their listings.  If anyone is interested in an assortment, feel free to contact me for more information – Local Pickup is always free.  These tags are hand stamped and hand colored by me and come ready to use for your Holiday gifts with satin ribbon.

Some of my latest projects

I’ve been neglecting my crafty blog for awhile but I’ve worked on a few projects since my last post. That said I am now finding out what life is like with a very busy toddler and it certainly makes life interesting as well making the time I can scrape together to get a little creative and work on something crafty even more rewarding. I’ve made some doll slings and a plush security blanket which I love both and really hope to make more.

I also made a belly pad for our second car seat since I really like the one that came with our Britax car seat in my car.

I certainly hope to find more little windows of time to squeeze in some creativity & crafting but I have come to realize with my busy girl craft projects are becoming a luxury as well as a lengthier process than they use to be. So this crafty momma will do her best to fuel her creativity through her blogs and crafts while taking in this wonderful journey of motherhood soaking up all these precious moments that go by so quick – for instance drafting this post with my girl on my lap who is trying to type like her momma. :-)

I've been busy with our sweet daughter but have had some time to do a few things here and there...

Coordinating stroller bag for the grab bag I made earlier. Handy for a changing pad, a few diapers, etc.

I've been able to find some time here & there to work on some projects. I've done a few nursing covers and two of them have been claimed already. I've made a few stroller bags, a couple have been claimed as well and some are waiting for their photo opportunity to go in my Etsy shop. I'm working on more inventory for my shop as well as some de-stashing of my yarn stash as I just am not able to get much knitting down with a 6 month old these days.
